AI Ready ASEAN
Program Overview
AI Ready ASEAN is a regional initiative led by the ASEAN Foundation with support from Google.org, aiming to build AI literacy across the ten ASEAN Member States.
Over a span of 2.5 years, the program seeks to equip 5.5 million individuals—including youth, educators, and parents—with essential AI skills to thrive in the digital age and use AI responsibly and ethically.
In the Philippines, Break The Fake Movement is chosen as one of the Local Implementing Partners of the programme in collaboration of other Local Partners in the country.
The program aims to train 1 million people from different sectors to close the AI knowledge gap. It empowers communities to embrace technology and ensures innovations drive inclusive growth for all Filipinos.

Target Beneficiaries
Youth
Group consists of high school and university students, out-of-school youths, graduates, and young professionals Aged 15-35 years old.
Educators
Group includes Teachers, Trainers, and University Lecturers.
Parents
Group comprises of parents interested in learning about AI.
Underserved Communities
Group of individuals aged 15-64 years old from
economically disadvantaged backgrounds, those living in rural areas, people with disabilities, indigenous people, and women.
